Plants Are Growing in the Gardening Chug

Kids in the gardening chug are growing 6 different varieties of tomatoes and the native flowering-plant coreopsis.  Many thanks to Bill Schneider and WildType for the donation of all the plants for the kiddos.

So far, we’ve focused on starting to measure our plants’ growth, learning when and how to water, and some fun science facts about plant growth.  Tending to plants can be one of the simple joys in life!  Check out Danny, taking good care of his plants.
