| Greetings, the AFAR group has put together a prayer vigil in support of the people remaining in Afghanistan who have yet to be evacuated. The situation is dire, many of the people are at risk of being murdered for their help of the American government during the past 20 years. Details are below. Prayer Vigil for Afghanistan on Saturday, 8/21 at 1pm. The event will start at 1pm at Lansing First Presbyterian (510 W Ottawa St.) and then the group will walk to the front of the Capitol building where faith leaders will offer prayers and Judi Harris from St Vincent’s Refugee Resettlement will speak.
